TargetSpot, AppNexus Partner for Programmatic

TargetSpot, a digital audio ad platform, launches its integration with AppNexus, an independent advertising technology company that enables and optimizes the real-time sale and purchase of digital ads. The collaboration enables AppNexus advertising partners to programmatically buy a source of targeted digital audio supply from TargetSpot, which includes over 100 of the online music, Internet radio and podcast content providers.

This marks an expansion of TargetSpot's programmatic offering, following its partnership with the Rubicon Project earlier this year. Additionally, TargetSpot has preferred partnerships with top streaming audio brands including CBS Radio's Radio.com, a platform for users to listen live to 173 stations online, including simulcasts of the company's over-the-air radio stations, and SBS/LaMusica, a Spanish language radio programmer, providing marketers with "first look" priority access to premium inventory.

"It's important to us to make it easy for our clients to purchase digital audio campaigns on our platform the way they want," said TargetSpot CRO/COO David Kert. "Partnering with AppNexus gives advertisers another great tool to buy our inventory, and we believe ease of purchasing digital audio campaigns is great for the industry as whole."

"Our buyers have a growing appetite for premium audio inventory. AppNexus' partnership with Targetspot will allow those that are already interested in audio to increase the scale and reach of existing campaigns; for the others, it's an opportunity to further diversify the channels through which they reach their programmatic audiences," added AppNexus Senior VP/Video Technology Eric Hoffert.
