Jacobs Media taps Chris Firmage to join its consulting team in the role of Associate Consultant. He'll provide support in several different areas of the company, ranging from promotion development, music analysis and research. Firmage joins the company after a long run at KFMA in Tucson. He joined the station in 2000, working the night shift, culminating in his elevation to Program Director and Brand Manager of the station in 2012. He's also served as a syndicated personality for Westwood One's Classic Rock, Classic Hits and Classic Hits Rock formats.

"I'm beyond excited to join the team at Jacobs," stated Firmage. "Their devotion to radio and their enthusiasm for the future of the medium are wholly inspiring and now I get to observe, and more importantly learn from everyone at the company on a daily basis. This is truly a dream opportunity for me and my family."

Jacobs Media's President Fred Jacobs commented, "We continue to invest in new ideas and approaches for our clients. Chris brings us a solid history of success. He's knowledgeable in many areas and I expect that he will have a positive impact for all of our clients."

Firmage will remain in Tucson, where he lives with his wife and two children.
