Cumulus Names Larrimore as WPRO/Providence PD

Veteran radio programmer Neil Larrimore is appointed Program Director for News/Talk WPRO-AM Providence, RI. The 20-year broadcaster joins the Cumulus outlet from iHeartMedia, where he was formerly Program Director and Brand Manager for iHM's Information brands in Phoenix and Tucson. Prior to that, he was PD for KMBZ-AM & FM Kansas City. He has held other programming positions in markets including Dayton and Philadelphia.
VP/Market Manager Holly Paras said, "After an exhaustive nationwide search, I am pleased to have Neil Larrimore joining the WPRO team. The impact of Neil's vast experience in the spoken word format will no doubt be felt immediately. His ability to think strategically and use the digital platforms to grow the already-successful brand will be a welcome addition to WPRO."
