News/Talk WGN-AM/Chicago Blackhawks studio host Judd Sirott is named the new play-by-play talent for the Boston Bruins on CBS Radio Sports WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub)/Boston. He replaces Dave Goucher, who exited last Summer to become the TV play-by-play voice for the Vegas Golden Knights. Sirott joins analyst Bob Beers beginning with the season opener on Thursday against the Nashville Predators.

"We are very excited to have someone with the exceptional reputation and experience that Judd has, join our team at The Sports Hub and call the Boston Bruins games on the radio," said CBS Radio Boston VP/Programming and CBS Radio VP/Sports Programming Mike Thomas.

"I didn't just hit the lottery, I hit the Powerball," said Sirott. "An Original Six team; a spectacular hockey market; one of the world's greatest cities; a terrific partner to work with in Bob Beers; and a fabulous station to be a part of. I am incredibly fortunate, privileged and humbled to be the radio voice of the Boston Bruins on 98.5 The Sports Hub."
