iHM/Los Angeles Names Worden VP/P of ALT 98.7

iHeartMedia names 20-year veteran programmer Lisa Worden as Vice President of Programming for KYSR-FM (ALT 98.7)/Los Angeles. In addition, Worden is appointed Alternative Rock Brand Manager for iHM's National Programming Group. As VP/P, she will work alongside Mike Kaplan, who will continue as serve as PD of ALT 98.7. Most recently, Worden served as Assistant PD/MD for CBS Radio's crosstown KROQ-FM. She first joined the station as its Music Director in 1995.

Beginning in 2003, Worden spent two years as the Program Director for WHFS-FM in Washington, DC and returned to KROQ-FM in 2005. She was named one of Billboard's Top Women in Music from 2010-2014 and one of Billboard's Top Rock Programmers in 2016. Worden also received the Station Music Director of the Year award at the Worldwide Music Summit in 2011 and 2014.
