John Hanson Appointed WCCO/Minneapolis Program Director

John Hanson

Entercom appoints John Hanson as Program Director for News WCCO-AM Minneapolis, effective immediately. He previously held the same role for sister stations KCSP-AM (610 Sports Radio) and KWOD-AM (1660 The Score) Kansas City. Prior to joining Entercom in 2013, Hanson co-hosted "Twin Cities Live" on KSTP-TV in Minneapolis. He's also served as Program Director for KBAD-AM (ESPN Radio 920) Las Vegas.

"John brings extensive knowledge of the Kansas City community to his new role with 830 WCCO," said Entercom Minneapolis Senior VP/Market Manager Shannon Knoepke. "I trust our listeners will enjoy the innovative and exciting programing that he will add to the station."
