Entercom Receives Nine 2018 APTRA Awards

Entercom has been awarded nine 2018 Associated Press Television and Radio Association Awards (APTRA). The organization honors outstanding journalism across thirteen western states. KCBS All News (KCBS-AM / KFRC-FM), The Bay Area's News Leader, received first place in seven categories, including top honor "Outstanding News Operation," and second place in two categories, making the station the most decorated of all 2018 APTRA recipients.
KCBS was recognized as:

- Best Continuing Coverage (First Place) li>
- Best Evening Newscast (First Place) li>
- Best Reporter (First Place) li>
- Best Special Programming (First Place) li>
- Best Spot News (First Place) li>
- Best Use of Sound (First Place) li>
