iHeartMedia Reclaims WHFX-FM (107.7 The Fox)/Brunswick GA


Sun and Snow Station Trust returns Rock WHFX-FM (107.7 The Fox)/Brunswick, GA to iHeartMedia and its AMFM Radio Licenses. Earlier this month, the FCC approved a city of license change for co-owned Urban AC WSOL-FM (V101.5) from the Brunswick, GA market to Yulee, FL in the Jacksonville market.

The station was previously divested when iHM proposed its bankruptcy reorganization plan earlier this year in order to comply with current FCC ownership caps. With the reassignment, the divestiture is no longer needed and iHM keeps its five-station cluster intact there, which also includes Country WYNR (102.5), CHR WQGA (103-Q), News/Talk WGIG-AM (Real Radio 1440) and Gospel WBGA (Hallelujah 96.3).
