Sinclair Telecable Sells Five Towers to CTI

Sinclair Telecable who owns a cluster of radio stations in Norfolk, VA, and recently agreed to buy out their 51% partner Emmis Communications in Austin, TX, has sold five wireless towers in Virginia, to CTI Towers. CTI Towers either owns or operates over 500 towers in 39 states and is backed by Comcast Ventures CTI is headed by Tony Peduto. Sinclair is controlled by Bob and David Sinclair.
Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. brokered this transaction. Bergner commented that "income producing towers remain in very high demand with multiples that far exceed station values". Bergner has already sold five tower deals in 2019.
