Jefferson Public Radio Closes on KWCA-FM/Palo Cedro

Jefferson Public Radio has closed on its previously announced acquisition of 4.9kW Hot AC KWCA-FM (Mix 101), licensed to Palo Cedro, CA, and serving the Redding market in northern California. Jefferson Public Radio is a network of non-commercial FM stations and translators covering southern Oregon and northern California.
JPN is owned by Southern Oregon University, and Paul Westhelle is the executive director. Memphis, TN-based Flinn Broadcasting, headed by George S. Flinn, Jr., owns radio and television stations throughout the US.
Eddie Esserman of the St. Simons Island, GA office of Media Services Group served as the broker for the transaction.
