Local Media San Diego Completes Acquisition of KFMB Stations

Local Media San Diego has concluded its acquisition of 30kW Adult Hits KFMB-FM (100.7) and 50kW News/Talk KFMB-AM (760) from Tegna Inc. Terms were not disclosed. KFMB-FM will join XHITZ-FM (Z90), XETRA-FM (91X) and XHRM-FM (Magic 92.5) at LMSD headquarters in Sorrento Valley, CA.
Concurrently, iHeartMedia has agreed to purchase KFMB-AM from Local Media San Diego. It's now operating KFMB under a LMA and flipped the station to a simulcast of KOGO-AM (News/Talk 600). Terms of the iHM deal were not immediately disclosed.
