The FCC's Media Bureau has slapped Family Unity Outreach Ministry's low power FM station WMBT-LP/Gainesville, FL, with a $1,500 fine for not renewing it license on time. The Commission said that an application for renewal of the station's license should have been filed by October 1, 2019, the first full business day following the first day of the fourth full calendar month prior to the station's February 1, 2020, license expiration date. The application was not filed until January 27. WMBT provided no explanation for the late filing.
