As part of RAB's Business Unusual initiative, the next presentation in its Open for Business live-video series is titled "Pinch Hitting; Replacing Lost Sports Revenue" featuring a broadcaster brainstorming discussion about how to replace lost sports, events, and related revenue. This live-video presentation takes place at 12pm CT on Thursday, September 17.

Sports broadcasting, one of local Radio's greatest opportunities for community connection and revenue, is gone for the season in many communities due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This leaves broadcasters scrambling to make up the lost sports revenue, event revenue, and other related opportunities.

This live-video presentation will include a Brainstorming session and Q&A moderated by RAB's President and CEO Erica Farber.

Panelists include:

  • Beth Mann, President, Ham Broadcasting, Cadiz, KY

  • Dennis Gwiazdon, VP/Market Manager, Cromwell Media Nashville, TN

  • Sue Goldsen, National and Regional Sales Manager, Jackson Radio Works, Jackson, MI

Registration is free to RAB Members for the live-video presentation and will be available for on-demand viewing. To register, click here.
