La Promesa Foundation Buys Texas Radio Outlets


La Promesa Foundation, headed by President Leonard J. Oswald, has agreed to acquire KEES-AM (1430)/Gladewater, TX and FM translator K243CU (96.5)/Longview, TX from Salt of the Earth Broadcasting, headed by President Darrell E. Martin. The purchase price is $125,000 cash at closing. Media Broker John W. Saunders was the exclusive broker on the transaction.
