Podtrac podcast data for the week of April 19-25 showed downloads were flat over the previous week and up 7% over the corresponding period last year for Podtrac measured shows. The Science category showed the strongest growth week-over-week at rising 34%. The Comedy category showed the weakest growth week-over-week declining 13% from the prior week.

Download growth for the 52-week period from April 20, 2020 to April 25, 2021 was up 7% across all Podtrac measured podcasts. Week-over-week download growth for the week of April 19-25, 2021 was flat across all Podtrac measured podcasts.
