Seven Mountains Media Closes Twin Tiers Three Way Deal


Seven Mountains Media LLC has closed on its $1.8 million deal to purchase WMXO-FM, WQRS-FM, WGGO-AM and WOEN-AM in Olean NY, WKPQ-FM in Hornell NY and WGMM-FM, WENY-AM, WENI-AM & FM in Corning-Elmira, NY, from Sound Communications LLC. Simultaneously, Seven Mountains spun-off five stations to Family Life Ministries, including WENY-FM, WZKZ-FM and WPHD-FM in Montour Falls NY, WMTT-FM in Horseheads NY and WUDE-FM in Portville NY. Family Life paid some consideration and trades WCIG-FM in Dallas, PA back to Seven Mountains.

Seven Mountains is led by Kristen Cantrell, Family Life is headed by Rick Snavely and the seller Sound Communications was represented by Paige Christian. Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. was the broker in this transaction.
