Fusion Radio to Acquire ''Super-Translator'' in St. Louis

Fusion Radio LLC has agreed to purchase FM "super-translator" K295CQ (106.9 FM)/St. Louis from Kaufman Media for $125,000. Kaufman also owns KXEN (1010 AM), K264CY (100.7 FM), WGNU (920 AM) and K283CI (104.5 FM). Offers for both combinations are pending.
Fusion Radio's principal partner is Rob Austin who operates Jamtrax Media, a Chicago-based multi-media company that offers radio programming solutions through programming, mix show syndication, production and imaging.
Plans are to upgrade the St. Louis signal (K295CQ) and change the tower location to significantly increase the pop-count & coverage area. St. Louis is ranked #24 in size according to BIA, Investing in Radio.
Fusion Radio also owns WPAY (1520 AM) and two FM "super-translators" in Toledo, OH (market #105).
Kozacko Media Services acted as the broker for the buyer.
