Triton Digital Releases July 2022 U.S. Podcast Report

Triton Digital has released its July, 2022 U.S. Podcast Report. Stitcher Media remained in the #1 spot on the Top Sales Networks Report for the month of July with 55 million Average Weekly Downloads and 13.9 million Average Weekly Users. NPR came in at #2 with 30.6 million AWDs and 6.2 million AWUs, followed by Wondery at #3 with 30.2 million AWDs and 7.5 million AWUs.
Yet again, the top three podcasts based on downloads included, "The Ben Shapiro Show" (Cumulus Podcast Network) at #1, "NPR News Now" (NPR) at #2 and "Crime Junkie" (audiochuck) at #3.
For listeners, the top 3 podcasts in July included, "Crime Junkie" (audiochuck) again at #1, "Morbid" (Wondery) at #2 and "Up First" (NPR) at #3.
New shows debuting during this period for listeners included "The Execution of Bonny Lee Bakley" (Wondery) and for downloads, "The Daily Stoic" (Wondery).
For the month of July, there were 222 million average weekly downloads for the top 20 publishers.
The Top Sales Network Reports are ranked by Average Weekly Downloads and Average Weekly Users, in accordance with v2.1 of the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines.
