Triton Digital Releases December 2024 U.S. Podcast Rankings

Triton Digital has unveiled its latest U.S. Podcast Ranker for December 2024 covering the period from December 2 to December 29. iHeart Audience Network continued to lead the Top Sales Networks Report, securing the top spot with an impressive 62.7 million average weekly downloads and 17.8 million average weekly users. NPR maintained its second position with 24.5 million downloads and 5.8 million users, while Audacy Podcast Network ranked third, pulling in 11.9 million downloads and 4.4 million users.

The top podcasts by downloads mirrored their listener rankings. "NPR News Now" led the charts, followed by "Up First," also from NPR, with "The Dan Bongino Show" from Cumulus Podcast Network ranking third in both categories.

Several new entries made their mark in December, including "24/7 News: The Latest" by iHeart Audience Network, "The Adam Friedland Show Podcast" by Audioboom, and "Ear Biscuits with Rhett & Link" from Audacy Podcast Network. Other notable debuts for downloads included "This Is Important" from iHeart Audience Network, "Headline News" from The Associated Press by Audioboom, and "The Tony Kornheiser Show" by Audacy Podcast Network.

Newcomers for listeners featured "Mobituaries with Mo Rocca" from iHeart Audience Network, "Soder" by Audioboom, "Sleep With Me" by Soundrise/PRX, and "Otherworld" by Audacy Podcast Network.
