Centennial Broadcasting II, LLC has reached an agreement to acquire Classic Hits WGRQ-FM (95.9) and Country WGRX-FM (104.5) from Telemedia Broadcasting, Inc. and longtime Fredericksburg, VA station owner Carl Hurlebaus. The two stations will join Centennial's existing Fredericksburg cluster, which includes WBQB-FM and WFVA-AM. The transaction is expected to close later this year, pending FCC approval.

"This addition marks an important step in our growth strategy," said Centennial President and CEO Allen Shaw. "With their strong community presence and loyal audiences, these stations present a unique opportunity to build on a rich tradition while reinforcing our commitment to the Fredericksburg market-delivering exceptional value to advertisers, engaging our listeners, and serving Fredericksburg and its surrounding communities."
