Beasley Broadcast Group has regained compliance with Nasdaq's minimum stockholders' equity requirement, resolving a listing issue disclosed earlier this year.
In an SEC Form 8-K filing, Beasley said it received written notice from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department on August 19 confirming that the company had regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(1). Nasdaq has closed the matter.
The rule requires companies listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market to maintain at least $2.5 million in stockholders' equity.
Beasley had previously disclosed that Nasdaq notified the company on April 13 that it was not in compliance with the minimum equity requirement. The broadcaster reported the deficiency in an April 14 SEC filing.
The latest filing does not provide details on how Beasley restored its stockholders' equity to the required level.
Beasley's Class A common stock continues to be listed and traded on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol "BBGI."
