KFMB/San Diego Adds Karen ''Cha Cha'' Harlow to Weekends

Adult Hits KFMB-FM (100.7)/San Diego taps Karen "Cha Cha" Harlow to join its weekend on-air lineup. She'll air Saturdays from 2-7pm, while handling fill-in elsewhere as needed. Harlow first started in San Diego radio in the 80s, crossing the border to the XHTZ studios in Mexico. She then joined KHTS/San Diego in afternoons before leaving to work as a news anchor and reporter at KNX/Los Angeles. Most recently, she did afternoons at XHPRS/Tijuana-San Diego until that station went off the air in December, 2018.

Director of FM programming Mike V. Vasquez said, "I've been a fan of Cha Cha's since first hearing her when I arrived in San Diego in 1998, so I'm thrilled to finally work with her. Her energetic, positive vibes combined with her extensive connections in San Diego make her an ideal fit for us. We are so fortunate to have her joining our 100.7 San Diego family."

Harlow added, "It's a thrill to join the family on 100.7 San Diego at the legendary KFMB. Special thanks to Mike V. and Robin Roth. I'm ready to shake the sand out of my beach towel and get back to playing awesome music on the radio. Let's have some fun."
