Rock WDVE-FM/Pittsburgh taps Chad Tyson to host afternoon drive, weekdays from 3-8pm effective August 1. In addition, Russ Rose, will move to evenings and will air 8-midnight. Tyson joins the Pittsburgh market from WEGW (Eagle 107.5)/Wheeling, WV where he most recently served as afternoon host. Throughout his career, he has held several posts at iHeartMedia, including middays at WKGR (98.7 The Gater)/West Palm Beach, where he led the digital team as Digital Coordinator from 2011-18.

"We're thrilled to have Chad join the WDVE family," said WDVE Program Director John Moschitta. "Tyson's charismatic personality, accompanied by his extensive knowledge of music and sports, make him the perfect fit for our listeners and having Russ Rose as evening host is the icing on the cake for our program lineup."

"One of my goals since starting my radio career has always been to work at 102.5 WDVE in Pittsburgh," said Tyson. "When I got the call, my wife asked me how it felt and I said, 'Remember when Santonio Holmes caught that game-winning pass in Super Bowl 43 and we beat the Cardinals? It feels like that.'"
