Tomorrow Media's syndicated "Tony Katz Today" adds KFOR (1240)/Lincoln, NE, to the program's roster, weekdays from 9-11am. Katz will launch the show in Lincoln, NE on Monday, August 5. Other affiliates include KLBJ-AM/Austin, WSHY/Lafayette, IN and WIBC/Indianapolis where Katz serves double duty as the station's morning host.
"With our Midwest focus, being with KFOR could not be more perfect," said Katz. "Working with PD Rob Kelley, going into an election year and highlighting how big news stories affect us locally; this is gonna be amazing."
"We are very excited to add Tony Katz to the team at KFOR," added KFOR Program Director Rob Kelley. "His humor, knowledge, energy and contemporary style will appeal perfectly to the ‘next generation' of talk radio listeners in Lincoln, NE."
David G. Hall, who works with Katz, thinks KFOR is a great fit. "Tony Katz Today is a great show for stations like KFOR who are rebranding, evolving, and looking to connect with the next generation of listeners."
