Beasley Media names Jonathan Wier as the new morning host on WKLB-FM (Country 102.5 FM)/Boston. "The Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown Show" will officially launch on Wednesday, September 4 from 5:30-9am. The St. Louis native, who took a unique path to radio after his wife entered him into a radio talk show host search back in 2004, most recently spent the past four years serving as the night personality at KMBZ-FM/Kansas City.

"I am extremely excited to be joining one of the top country stations in the nation and working for the best and most respected company in the business, Beasley Media Group," said Wier. "The fact that this is also happening in Boston, a city that I've always dreamed of living in, is just the icing on the cake."

"I am thrilled to welcome Jonathan to WKLB," added Beasley Media Group National Country Brand Manager and WKLB-FM Program Director David Corey. "The Jonathan Wier & Ayla Brown show is going to be a powerhouse show."

"Jonathan is the perfect addition to our team of world class talent," said Beasley Media Group Boston VP/Programming Cadillac Jack. "We're excited to welcome him to Beasley Boston and look forward to many successful years together."

Jackson Blue will move from doing mornings to hosting the afternoon drive from 2-7pm on the station.
