DJ Laz Exits Morning Show at WFLC (Hits 97.3)/Miami

Veteran morning host DJ Laz exits Cox Media Group's CHR WFLC-FM (Hits 97.3)/Miami after five years. He previously spent 22 years in the market at WPOW and prior to WFLC was live coast-to-coast on SBS Broadcasting's WRMA in Miami and KXOL in Los Angeles. He's also a platinum recording artist with hits such as "Move, Shake, Drop" and "Esa Morena" and was one of the first to discover and launch the career of national recording artist Pitbull.

Cox Media Group/Miami Director of Operations Jill Strada commented, "WFLC and DJ Laz have parted ways amicably. The staff here wishes him the best in his future endeavors. More to come on what's next for mornings at WFLC."
