WCDX/Richmond VA Names Mitchell-McCoy as New Midday Host

Radio One/Richmond, VA, names South Carolina native Tradia Mitchell-McCoy (Tradia with the Tea) as the new midday personality for WCDX (iPower 92.1 FM and 104.1 FM), weekdays from 10am-3pm beginning January 6. She joins the Urban outlet from WGIV-FM (Streetz 103.3)/Charlotte, where she served in a similar role. Mitchell-McCoy's career has also included interviewing various reality TV stars and celebrities, working as a BET Red Carpet Coordinator and Daily TV Correspondent.

"Throughout our extensive search, Tradia stood out as someone who exudes passion for Radio and a very strong work ethic to go along with her natural talent," said Radio One Richmond Operations Manager Mat Myers. "We could not be happier to welcome her to the Radio One Richmond family and are excited for all of the great things we will accomplish together."
