WCDX/Richmond's DJ SIR RJ Moves to Afternoons


Richmond's WCDX iPower 92.1FM/104.1FM has announced that nigh jock DJ SIR RJ will be moving to afternoon drive. moving to afternoons. The announcement follows recent announcements of a new morning show and midday host on the urban mainstream station.

"Our goal is to always give our community the best listening experience as possible and I could not be more excited to deliver on that promise as we enter 2020," said Matt Myers, Operations Manager for Radio One Richmond. "With a new cutting edge morning show, Tradia's unique talent, and proven market vet DJ Sir RJ, we look forward to doing big things On Air and in the community for our listeners and clients."

DJ Sir RJ began nights on WCDX back in July of 2019 but has been a radio personality in the Richmond market for over 20 years. Outside of his work behind the microphone, RJ currently DJs in several clubs throughout the DMV.

"I'm thrilled to move up to afternoons and remain with my Radio One Family," said Sir RJ. "It is 2020; a new beginning, so why not bring it home where I started with iPower 92.1 and 104.1!"
