Randy McCarten Returns to WRVE-FM/Albany for Mornings

iHeartMedia Hot AC WRVE-FM (99.5 The River) Albany adds "The River Morning Show with Randy McCarten," effective May 26. The veteran station personality returns to mornings, weekdays from 5-10am. McCarten most recently served as Senior VP/Programming for iHM/Albany and Brand Manager of WRVE and Classic Hits sister WTRY until staff cuts last January. He replaces Jason Howard and Tracy Villaume in mornings.

"It's great having Randy back," said iHeartMedia Albany Area President Kristen Delaney. "He has connected with so many listeners throughout the years and has really been the heart and soul of 99.5 The River. Capital District listeners are going to love starting their day with him."

"The River and its listeners have been a part of my life for over 20 years, and I'm really excited to help them start their day with great music, information and entertainment -- it feels great to be back," added McCarten.
