Underwood to Guest Host Afternoons on KKGO Los Angeles

Singer/songwriter Carrie Underwood has been tapped to "take over" afternoon drive on KKGO (Go Country 105)/Los Angeles, acting as guest host throughout the month of December as the station switches to Christmas programming. Underwood -- whose first-ever Christmas album is "My Gift" -- will share personal stories, her perspective on holiday music and more weekdays from 2-7pm, beginning Monday November 30 through Friday December 25.

"We couldn't be more excited to welcome country superstar Carrie Underwood on-air for afternoon drive for the month of December! She is such an amazing artist and I know our listeners will be thrilled to hear her on-air for our annual Christmas programming" stated Go Country 105 Station Manager Michael Levine.

Underwood added, "We are celebrating the holidays in a big way this year and I'm looking forward to spending some time with our friends in Southern California while we count down to Christmas."

Concurrently, Idina Menzel has been tapped to "take over" middays, acting as guest host throughout the month of December. Menzel will share personal stories, her unique perspective on holiday music and much more weekdays from 10am-2pm beginning Monday November 30 through Friday December 25.

"We are so fortunate to have the world-renowned Idina Menzel guest host our midday show on Go Country 105. Fans not only in So Cal but around the world will be able to hear her show as we play holiday classics for the month of December," said Levine.
