NRG Media and Sports KOZN (1620 AM The Zone)/Omaha reunites Gary Sharp and Damon Benning to do mornings, weekdays from 6-10am, while adding Connor Happer to the line-up to host the midday slot, weekdays from 10am-2pm. Both shows debuted on Monday, January 3. Sharp and Benning previously hosted the morning show on 1620 The Zone for seven years, before Sharp moved into middays for the last two years. Benning, a former Nebraska Cornhusker, has been doing mornings on KOZN since October, 2012.

Happer joins 1620 The Zone beginning January 5 to host "The Connor Happer Show." He joins the team from Sports KNTK-FM (93.7 The Ticket)/Lincoln, NE, where he hosted mornings, middays, afternoons and late mornings since 2015. Happer is a native of Omaha and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

GM Mark Shecterle commented, "I'm extremely excited to have Gary and Damon back together hosting our top-rated sports-talk morning show. And adding Connor to the weekday line-up is just icing on the cake."

Operations Manager David Adams stated, "Reuniting Sharp & Benning in the Morning is sure to make our listeners very happy, and bringing Connor in for middays will only strengthen our already stellar 6am-6pm lineup."
