Tony Russell joins the air staff at LKCM Media Group's Country KFWR (95.9 The Ranch)/Dallas. Previously, he worked for Alpha Media in mornings at Country KUPL-FM (98.7 The Bull)/Portland, OR from 2017-2020. Before that, he was part of the "Fitz In The Morning Show at Country KKWF (The Wolf)/Seattle. Russell's previous experience includes morning stints in markets such as Dallas and Miami. He began his radio career in 1998.

In a Facebook post, Russell wrote, "I will continue to run my insurance business in WA, OR and now TX, but I also get to play on the radio again each morning. I honestly considered myself retired from radio, but a station I dearly love made me an offer I couldn't refuse. They represent everything I believe radio should be about... the local community with local talent."
