WWYZ-FM (Country 92-5) Hartford taps Amanda Jo to join the morning show with Damon Scott, effective August 15, weekdays from 5-10am. She transitions from middays to join Scott and will become Music Director and Assistant Program Director for Country 92-5. Amanda Jo has been a radio personality since 2007, heard across New England on WBWL-FM (100.9 The Bull) in Boston, WRNX-FM (KIX 100.9) and WWYZ.

"Amanda Jo has performed well on the station in middays and we're looking forward to having her join Damon in the mornings, as she continues to contribute to the station's success," said iHeartMedia Connecticut Market President Steve Honeycomb.

"Amanda Jo brings a great energy to Country 92-5 in middays and at our station events," added iHeartMedia Connecticut SVP of Programming Joey Brooks. "To sum it up, her knowledge of country radio, and the way she connects to listeners on the air, online and at events make her the perfect fit for the role."

Amando Jo is a Western Massachusetts native and graduated from Westfield State College in 2007. She'll continue to be heard on WBWL-FM (100.9 The Bull) from 10am-3pm as well as on WRNX-FM (KIX 100.9) from 3-7pm. Alongside her on-air roles, she will continue her position as Music Director and Assistant Program Director on 100.9 The Bull in Boston.
