Max Media of Hampton Roads hires Brittany "Blu" Uzzell as the first midday personality on Urban Adult Hits WVBW (100.5 The Vibe) in Norfolk-Virginia Beach, effective Ocotber 10. Blu started her career at WVST on the campus of Virginia State University under Program Director Jennifer Williamson. In 2017 she joined Radio One's WCDX (iPower 92.1) in Richmond, VA doing fill-in and weekend shifts before being promoted to nights with co-host DJ Sir RJ until 2020.
"I'm excited about adding Blu to 100.5 The Vibe. Her sound, energy and quick wit will make her an awesome personality in the 7 cities," remarked Brand Manager Tone Hollywood.
