WTMJ/Milwaukee Names Sandy Maxx Afternoon Co-Anchor

WTMJ (Newsradio 620) taps Milwaukee broadcast veteran Sandy Maxx to co-anchor the station's afternoon show, "Wisconsin's Afternoon News." Maxx will join on-air host John Mercure, Sports Director Greg Matzek and Traffic Reporter Debbie Lazaga, weekday afternoons from 3-6pm beginning Monday, December 12. For the past eight years, Maxx worked on-air on WKLH. Prior to that, she had radio experience at various stations including WMYX in Milwaukee, WIIL-FM in Kenosha and The Eighties Channel in Chicago.

"We are thrilled to welcome Sandy to the WTMJ team," said Newsradio 620 WTMJ Director of Content Ryan Maguire. "Her perspective is unique, her energy is infectious, and her love for Milwaukee is truly genuine. Our fans and partners can expect Sandy to make an entertaining and enlightening addition to 'Wisconsin's Radio Station,' and we can't wait for her to get started."
