WZGC-FM (92.9 The Game) in Atlanta launches a new morning sports and lifestyle show. The station welcomes Tiffany Blackmon, Mike Johnson and Beau Morgan to co-host "The Morning Shift on 92.9 The Game," weekdays from 6-9am ET beginning later this month. John Fricke, who currently hosts mornings, will continue in a new role.

"Tiffany, Mike and Beau are going to offer a unique combination of perspectives on sports, culture, current events and day-to-day life that our listeners will find to be informative, entertaining and funny," said 92.9 The Game Brand Manager Mike Conti. "They've quickly developed a chemistry that I think will lead to a fast-paced, fun, high-energy show each morning."

"Mike, Beau and I have already had so much fun building this show together, and we can't wait to get started," said Blackmon. "On a personal level, it is so special for me to co-host this morning show in my home state."

Blackmon, a North Gwinnett High School and Georgia State graduate, currently serves as a sideline reporter on ESPN's coverage of college football and the XFL. She reported from the sidelines of December's College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Fiesta Bowl and also served as sideline reporter at the 2022 Rose Bowl. Prior to joining ESPN, Blackmon was a correspondent for NFL Network, and also worked in sports television in Houston, Oklahoma City, Waco and Lake Charles, Louisiana.

"I am beyond excited to start this journey with 92.9 The Game and my incredible co-hosts Tiffany and Beau," said Johnson. "As a former Falcon and All American, I feel that I'll be able to give listeners a unique insight in to the world of sports."

Johnson is a five-year veteran of the NFL, all with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played offensive line and tight end from 2010-14. Johnson played 54 games at the University of Alabama, and was a consensus All American in 2009, when he captained the Crimson Tide's National Championship team. Johnson has worked in television and radio in the Birmingham and Atlanta markets since retiring from football and will also be a part of pregame and postgame shows on the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network.

"It's a dream come true to be able to speak with Atlanta fans daily about my biggest passion in life: the teams I grew up loving," said Morgan.

Morgan is a 15-year veteran of sports radio in Atlanta, most recently as the executive producer of "Dukes and Bell" and the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network on 92.9 The Game. He has built a social media following through his appearances on TMZ, his exploits on the grill, and with his strong advocacy of Atlanta's home teams. Morgan is an Atlanta-area native and graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2008.

The station also announces a new early-morning show, "The Hometown Take," which will air weekdays from 5-6am ET. Dylan Mathews, the producer of "The Morning Shift on 92.9 The Game," will host the new early-morning sports and entertainment program.
