WRVA/Richmond Afternoon Host Jeff Katz Inks Extension

Jeff Katz

Audacy Richmond inks Newsradio WRVA-AM afternoon host Jeff Katz to a contract extension. Katz has been a WRVA host in PM drive for 10 years. Previously, Katz worked in mornings for conservative Talk WXKS-AM in Boston. Before that, he was with crosstown WRKO-AM in the late 90's and has held alk radio stints in Philadelphia, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

"Jeff is a great citizen of Virginia and continues to be an important part of the WRVA family," said Audacy Virginia Senior Vice President and Market Manager Bennett Zier.

"During the past decade, I've absolutely fallen in love with the people of Central Virginia," added Katz. "This community has been so welcoming to my family and I cherish having the chance to help out a bit by serving as an advocate for special needs kids, saluting our law enforcement officers and sharing vital news and information."
