WXTU-FM Signs Andie Summers to Multi-year Deal Extension

WXTU-FM Philadelphia morning personality Andie Summers signs a multi-year extension deal. Summers has been waking up country music fans in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties on 92.5 XTU since 1999. She has earned the love of listeners and has won several awards, including the Country Music Association (CMA) Award for "Major Market Personality of the Year" twice and the Academy of Country Music Award (ACM) for "Major Market Station of the Year." In addition, Andie is a two-time Gracie Award winner.

Summer began her career as a morning host, Promotions Director and producer at a small radio station. She continued her career as a morning host at WGGY (Froggy 101) in Wilkes Barre-Scranton before moving to Philly's Country 92.5 XTU where Summere has served as host of the morning show as well various music specials and sports programming, including host of Eagles Primetime Live - a weekly show with various Eagles players, including Jason Kelce, David Akers, Jon Runyan, Donovan McNabb and others.

Summers is dedicated to volunteerism, offering her talents and financial support to her church, St. Joseph's of Downingtown, as well as The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Liberty USO and others.
