SportsMap Radio's "The Sports Kings" will add a new co-host beginning August 28. Luke Mauro, who previously served as midday host in Charleston, SC, will join Gene Thompson on the program. Mauro was also previously the play-by-play broadcaster for The Citadel basketball and football teams. The show will air weekdays from 4-6pm ET.

"The opportunity to work with Gow Media, and take my voice to the national level, on one of the most affiliated networks, was a no-brainer," said Mauro. "I look forward to working alongside Gene Thompson and continuing to build the great brand that had started with The Sports Kings."

"Luke is a tremendous broadcaster," said Gow Media COO and Program Director, Craig Larson. "He's someone who's been on our radar for quite some time. I think pairing him with Gene will be a perfect mix of hard hitting sports talk with extremely charismatic personalities."

In addition, SportsMap Radio will bring back three seasonal shows this fall. "The Boss and The Gloss" can be heard Mondays from 6-8pm ET. The show is hosted by David Gow and Carla Dawson. The new season premieres on August, 28. James Brown, host of NFL Today on CBS, will appear on the first show.

The Big E with Elissa Walker returns for its tenth football season. The show will air on Saturdays from 3-5pm ET. And, College Football Weekly hosted by Brian Schaible is set to launch its second season. This program runs 4-6am each Saturday morning.
