Michael Phillips Named New WRNL Richmond Midday Host

Michael Phillips, the reigning Virginia Sportswriter of the Year and longtime guest of WRNL-AM (SportsRadio 910 The Fan) in Richmond, joins the station as its new midday host. "MP on the Mic" will air on weekdays from 10am-12p. ET beginning September 11. Phillips moved to Richmond in 2007 and previously served as the Sports Editor and interim Executive Editor at the Richmond Times-Dispatch, where he covered the Washington Commanders.

"Michael Phillips, for many years, has been highly regarded as the most respected voice of Richmond and Virginia Sports," said Audacy Richmond Senior Vice President and Market ManagerBennett Zier. "We are delighted to have MP wear our 910 The Fan jersey for Audacy Richmond."
