Jesse Garon Named WOLX/Madison Morning Show Host

Jesse Garon

Jesse Garon is named the new morning host for Audacy's Classic Hits WOLX-FM in Madison. "Get Up with Garon" will be heard weekdays from 6-10am CT. He succeeds Jim McGaw, who passed away in May. Garon has been with 94.9 WOLX since 2015, previously serving as evening host.

"We're thrilled to have Jesse's bright personality getting people up and ready for the day," said WOLX Operations Manager Jonathan Suttin. "He is the perfect person to follow in Jim's footsteps and carry the torch for the future of mornings on WOLX."

"Jim was a close friend of mine and I hope to be a friend to our great audience just like Jim was for so many years," said Garon. "WOLX has been my favorite radio station for years and, as a child of the 80s & 90s, a lot of the music we play connects with me on a personal level. I'm excited to get the day started for so many people."
