KSL/Salt Lake City afternoon host Boyd Matheson will exit the Bonneville News/Talk outlet on Friday, November 8. Matheson, who hosts "Inside Sources," weekdays from 1-3pm, is leaving to pursue other opportunities. In addition to hosting afternoons, Matheson also moderates "Sunday Edition" for KSL-TV. Prior to KSL, Matheson was opinion editor and head of strategic reach for Deseret News from 2018-2021 and President of Sutherland Institute from 2016-2018. He also served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Mike Lee.

"Working at KSL has been an incredible journey," said Matheson. "I am grateful for the experiences I've had and the relationships I've built here and look forward to applying some of the things I have learned in my next chapter. It has been my privilege to get to engage with the remarkable people of Utah and I will be forever grateful for the interactions and conversations I had with so many."

"Throughout his tenure, Boyd has been a daily voice of reason tackling the complex issues of our time and providing thoughtful analysis and insights for our audiences," added Bonneville Chief Content Officer Ruth Todd. "His hard work and genuine passion for making a difference in the world has been inspiring to both colleagues and the community, and he will be greatly missed."
