Veteran air personality Antoine Davis has stepped down from his midday slot at Bonneville's KBLX (Throwbacks and R&B) in San Francisco, marking the end of over 20 years with the station in various roles. His departure is part of a round of staff reductions at the company's San Francisco operations earlier this week.

Davis' association with KBLX began in 1998 as a weekend host, while he simultaneously hosted evening shows at KWIN in Stockton, CA. After returning to KBLX in 2003, he spent the next decade filling both midday and afternoon slots before rejoining the station in November, 2014 as a morning co-host. Over his career, Davis also worked at KQBR in Sacramento, KQOD in Stockton, weekends at KISQ (98.1 Kiss FM)in San Francisco and afternoons at KRNB in Dallas.

Davis shared on Instagram, "Well, as they say, nothing lasts forever. As difficult as this is to do, I am reaching out to let you know after 20+ years on 102.9 KBLX, it has been decided that it is time for me to move on. I want to thank you for always being kind, considerate, and loving to me all these years on the radio. This is a tough break-up, but I realize life happens to everyone. I'll miss speaking those iconic call letters KBLX."
