Jenelle Vannoy Exits Afternoons at KOBQ in Albuquerque

MIW's 2024 "Behind The Mic" mentee Jenelle Vannoy exits CHR KOBQ-FM (93.3 The Q) in Albuquerque as afternoon host, as she prepares to move to a yet to be announced station. Vannoy, who joined KOBQ in September, 2021, began her career at iHeartMedia's KPLV (My 93.1) in Las Vegas before joining Radio One, where she handled digital content for three Charlotte-based stations.

Following Radio One, Vannou joined Riviera Broadcasting Phoenix in 2019 as Public Service Director and on-air KKFR (Power 98.3) until her move to Albuquerque. Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, she holds a degree in Journalism from NC A&T State University and a degree in Film/Video & Cinema from UNLV in 2013.
