Jay Michaels, the midday host at KHMX-FM (Mix 96-5) in Houston, will expand his reach to WMYX-FM (99.1 The Mix) in Milwaukee, beginning November 25, where he will host the weekday afternoon slot from 2-7pm. Both stations, which feature a Hot AC format, are owned by Audacy. Michaels will air the show remotely from Houston, where he also serves as Assistant Brand Manager for Audacy.

In a Facebook announcement, Michaels expressed excitement about the move, noting it reunites him with Taylor Vaughn, WMYX's Assistant Brand Manager and midday host. The two previously co-hosted a morning show at WGMI-FM in Terre Haute, IN in 2010. Vaughn, who went by "Stacey" at the time, will host the midday shift leading into Michaels' new show.

The afternoon slot at WMYX has been vacant since Tim Lethlean, the station's former on-air host and news director, departed on November 1.

Michaels wrote, "So excited that starting Monday I get to talk on 99.1 The Mix, another Audacy station, in Milwaukee, every day in the afternoon from 2:00 - 7:00. And even more excited that it means I get to work with Taylor Vaughn again... When I started my first morning show in 2010 @ 100.7 MIX-FM, Taylor was my first co-host."
