Dave Quinn, a longstanding figure in the Youngstown, OH radio market, has exited his role at Cumulus Media's eight-station cluster there due to budget considerations. His departure marks the end of a career spanning over three decades in the region.
Quinn's journey in Youngstown radio began in 1989 as an air talent with WQXK (K-105). By 1995, he transitioned behind the scenes, assuming the role of full-time Production Director. As the radio industry underwent consolidation, Quinn expanded his responsibilities, managing station imaging, voice tracking, creative writing, continuity, and traffic coordination, while providing sales support.
In 2000, he became the Production Director for the Cumulus Youngstown cluster, a role he held for over 20 years. His expertise included mobile recording and creative audio production, skills he also leveraged in his own freelance business, Quinn Imaging.
For those wishing to connect with him or inquire about his freelance work, he can be reached via email.
