Houston natives Tucker "Frito" Young and Katy Dempsey will be the new morning hosts on Audacy Country KILT-FM (100.3 The Bull). "Frito & Katy" is set to air on weekdays from 6-10am, starting January 10. Both Young and Dempsey have garnered significant recognition in the industry, including the 2024 CMA Award for Major Market Personality, a 2021 Marconi Award and several Crystal awards.

Audacy Houston Senior Vice President and Market Manager Sarah Frazier expressed enthusiasm about the new hosts, noting their commitment to the community and strong focus on local content. "The duo's passion for relentlessly serving the local community as well as their focus on local content on-air is perfect for Houston," Frazier said. "We can't wait for our audience to start their days with this award-winning show."

Dempsey, sharing her excitement about returning to her roots, said, "Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd wind up back in my hometown to do radio with the station I grew up listening to.
