Big Homie Kodaq has exited the "JoJo & Big Homie Show" at iHeartMedia's Hip Hop CHR WRDG (96.1 The Beat) in Atlanta over budget cuts. Kodaq and Jojo Alonso teamed in 2021 when she joined his "Big Homies House" podcast. The duo then joined 96.1 The Beat later that year to host Monday through Thursday nights. Alonso remains with the station.

Kodaq wrote on Instagram, "I literally have nothing bad to say, budget cuts. Sh*t happens. We went #1 in November. I had no company endorsements, so my salary was the easiest to clear without losing extra income."
