Cumulus Media promotes Laura Dickerson to the role of Assistant Program Director and on-air host for CHR WWWQ-FM (Q99.7) in Atlanta. Dickerson, who will continue to serve as Music Director for co-owned 104.1 KRBE in Houston will host middays on Q99.7, weekdays from 11am-3pm.

Since joining Cumulus Media and 104.1 KRBE in 2021, Dickerson has quickly risen through the ranks, assuming the role of Music Director in 2022 after initially serving as an weekend host. Her broadcasting career spans over a decade, with previous roles including midday host and Music Director at Radio Now 92.1 in Houston, and on-air positions in Phoenix at KMVA-FM (Hot 97.5 & 103.9).

Leslie Whittle, VP of CHR, Hot AC, and Rhythmic CHR for Cumulus Media, and Regional Content Director for both Houston and Atlanta markets, praised Dickerson's abilities. "Laura's pop culture expertise, energy, and creative vision have made her a standout member of our team," said Whittle. "This new role is a well-deserved advancement in her career, and I am excited about what we will accomplish together in Atlanta."

Laura Dickerson expressed her enthusiasm about her new position, stating, "I am thrilled to step into this new role at such a legendary brand as Q99.7 and to engage with the Atlanta community. This opportunity to bridge my work between Atlanta and Houston is truly the best of both worlds."

Dickerson also acknowledged the support from Cumulus Media's leadership, thanking Brian Philips, Alex Cadelago, and Melissa Forrest for facilitating a smooth transition that she believes will foster a dynamic and prosperous partnership between the Houston and Atlanta markets.
