KRBE/Houston's Morning Show Inks 5-Year Extension

KRBE-FM/Houston's long-running morning program, "The Roula & Ryan Show," will continue to wake up Houston for another five years. The show is not only extending its run but also adding a new twist to its name, becoming "The Roula & Ryan Show with Eric" to honor Eric Rowe's contributions as the executive producer and a key voice on the show.

The newly named "The Roula & Ryan Show with Eric" airs weekdays from 6-10am and features a team including Roula Christie, Ryan Chase, and additional cast members Special K and Sam, along with Eric Rowe.

Cumulus Media Regional Vice President Alex Cadelago expressed enthusiasm about the continuation of this partnership, highlighting the show's long-standing appeal and importance to the Houston community. "It's satisfying to know that KRBE and 'The Roula & Ryan Show with Eric' will continue entertaining Houstonians during their morning commute, as they have for the past twenty years," said Cadelago.

KRBE-FM Regional Content Director Leslie Whittle also shared her excitement about the future, emphasizing the show's deep connection with its listeners. "This show truly is the Heartbeat of Houston, as they prove every day. Listen once and you'll understand what they mean to our city and what Houston means to them," remarked Whittle.

Christie, speaking on behalf of the show, was thrilled about the recognition of Eric Rowe's integral role. "Eric has earned it and deserves it. He is hilarious on the air and a genius behind the scenes," said Christie. She also expressed gratitude towards the Cumulus family and the show's audience for their continued support, noting, "This will make us the longest-running morning show in the history of KRBE. It is our home, and we love that we are further cementing our bond with this city."
